This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to join our News division, servicing loyal viewers 7 days per week with Nines News Bulletins.QualificationsWhat we would like to see:Proficient use of news broadcast cameras and editing skillsFamiliarity with Live Cross procedures and use of live Dejero Units, this is preferred but not essentialExperience working in the News industry and working on live News bulletins, this is preferred but not essentialDemonstrated communication skills storytelling and written and good listening skillsAttention to detail, timeliness, and planning of tasks to meet deadlinesAbility to anticipate roadblocks and accurately scope out length and difficulty of task/projectDemonstrated flexibility where requiredEngages peers, supervisors, colleagues and members of the public in active, open and productive dialogue, and a proven team playerSkills to achieve positive, measurable results aligned with the department and wider business needsShare positive information and proactive in discussing solutions/raising ideasSupport, develop and maintain an effective local teamKnowledge of Current Affairs and Events and Emerging technologiesCASA RPAS Drone Certification preferred, but not essentialAdditional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:We''re committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive Nine.
