The Group''s focus is to provide services in land administration, property information and facilitating the better use of government owned land.We''re focused on outcomes that deliver more choice, connections and confidence in our travel, ensuring the whole transport network works as one to deliver better services and outcomes.About the RoleThe role is Ongoing Fulltime.The Senior Property Projects Officer identifies and leads the development and implementation of priority property projects for the divestment and/or change in use of transport land to meet Department or Government priorities. With a focus on identifying surplus land suitable for Housing and increasing utilisation of Department owned and controlled land, the role will be required to undertake feasibility assessments for proposals, obtain transport clearance for use and instil parameters to protect transport assets or future planning requirements.Position Outcomes /AccountabilitiesOversee and co-ordinate the development and implementation of priority property projects, including site identification, feasibility evaluation, project reporting and other matters relating to the development and delivery of these projects.Apply creative and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems such as sale or development of property through a process of consultation and negotiation, where policies or guidelines are not readily available.Apply specialist project management expertise in the effective management of a range of property projects including change in land use, development and preparation for sale/divestment that improve business performance in a commercial environment.Negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders including other transport operators, network planning, consultants such as solicitors, valuers and project managers to unlock Transport land to achieve set project objectives.Key Selection CriteriaThis role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to strategic outcomes that benefit communities across the state.
