We have delivered industry leading foundations and ground improvement solutions to the building, construction, and mining industries in Australia for over 60 years.About the RoleAs a Payroll/HR Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless payroll processing while supporting HR operations. You will work 38 hours per week split between Payroll and HR responsibilities, allowing you to collaborate closely with both teams to maintain compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end to end payroll, including accurate calculations for wages, superannuation, leave entitlements, and deductions.Maintain payroll records, leave balances, and employee data, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.Prepare and process termination calculations, including redundancy entitlement calculations.Reconcile payroll data with financial records, collaborating with finance for reporting and audits.Assist with HR administration, including onboarding, contract management, and maintaining employee records.Track and monitor employee secondments, visa expirations, temporary contracts, and probation evaluations.Provide general HR support to staff and management, including advice on policies, procedures, and entitlements.Maintain and improve the companys HRIS, ensuring accurate employee data and system integrity.About YouDemonstrated experience in a previous payroll processing and HR administration role.Strong knowledge with the National Employment Standards, Building and Construction Award, and state-based Employment Bargaining Agreements.High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience with payroll software.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Why work with usWork with a global industry leader in geotechnical solutions.Flexible working environment.Career development and training opportunities.Supportive and collaborative team culture.Competitive salary and employee benefits.Above industry paid parental leave.How to ApplyWe are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the right people who are highly competent, live our values and actively contribute to our long-term success.If you are an experienced Payroll/HR professional looking for a detail-focused and proactive role, we want to hear from you!
