NBCUniversal is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.Job DescriptionMarket and sales analysis (Australia and New Zealand) for internal parties including Managing Director, Sales team, Finance team, and Marketing teamLiaise with the Sales and FP&A team regarding revisions of box office estimates, pre- and weekend opening reports and release datesResponsible for meeting studio & industry reporting requirements and deadlines (e.g MPDAA)Prepare territory and title level forecasts for both UPI and Warner Bros. (Australia & New Zealand) / reporting requirementsAssessing accuracy of local territory estimates via over/under spends analysis and comparative information.Ensure studio reporting systems (e.g Magic & Dash) correctly reflect latest financials & release datesEnsure Sales systems (e.g. Unify) are correctly capturing and transmitting all booking and box office information (including the transmission to/from third-party & internal programs)Maintain competitive release schedule and film fact informationPrepare pre-release estimates and post release profit and loss reports in consultation with Home Entertainment and Television divisionsSupporting the H/O and regional FP&A teams with integration of eOne and any other adhoc requestsResponsible for monthly financial reporting to external and internal parties such as Head Office, EOne, Warner Bros.Assisting the Finance team with month, quarter and year end responsibilitiesFacilitate external audit reporting requirements and enquiries regarding box office and revenueResponsible for set up of WBSs for all UPI titles, including eOne and Warner Bros titlesTaking all other tasks as allocated by the Group Financial Controller, Finance & Sales DirectorsQualificationsABOUT YOUStrong understanding of financial and business analysis skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHighly proficient in ExcelExperience working in cross functional teams and supporting the business with appropriate analytical informationAbility to work in a fast dynamic environment whilst managing competing priorities and ensuring completeness / accuracy of all estimatesMedia experience an advantageMust be enthusiastic and have a passion for moviesQUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTSYou must have the right to work in Australia i.e. have Australian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyDemonstrated experience with supporting the business with appropriate data and analysisAdditional InformationAs part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
