In this crucial support role, you will be responsible for the administration, data entry and maintenance of our key Leisure systems, including the Point-of-Sale database (Oracle Simphony), Inventory Management System (Oracle IMS), and Digital Ordering System (Reva). Your primary focus will be on ensuring purchasing rigour, maintaining the integrity of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and pricing across our diverse Leisure portfolio.You will play a key role in driving system improvements through database configuration, rationalising system hierarchies, SKUs, and end-user access levels. You will also provide valuable technical support to our Leisure Sites and the Inventory Systems Administrator.Key Responsibilities:Database Administration: End-to-end administration of Oracle Simphony POS database, Oracle IMS, and Reva Digital Ordering System.New Item Creation: Develop and maintain processes for all new purchase item (SKU) creation requests, ensuring adherence to RACV''s Procurement Policy & Delegations of Authority.System Menu Item Linking: Accurately mirror and link all system menu items with the corresponding inventory items or recipes.Purchase Order Lists: Assist Leisure properties in managing and maintaining menu item information within the systems.Database Rationalisation:Clean and reconfigure database hierarchies to align with contracted categories.Reconfigure system user departments and access levels to promote proper segregation of duties.Clean and reconfigure SKUs to eliminate duplications and identify opportunities for purchasing aggregation.Inventory Counts: Support Leisure properties with end-of-month inventory processes, including back-office administration and variance analysis.Role Specific Capabilities:Results FocusedExcellent CommunicatorStrong Problem SolverTeam PlayerPerformance OrientationPlanning and OrganisingSelf-ManagementResilientFocus on Continuous ImprovementQualifications and Experience:Previous experience in database management of Oracle Materials Control application and/or other Hospitality purchasing applications desirableAdaptability in system use; familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.Previous Hospitality purchasing experienceTertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, and/or Accounting (while not essential) would be a significant advantage.Proven Relationship Management skills.Solid understanding of P&L activity, particularly COGS.The RACV difference:Be part of a team who cares.
