Merri-bek is a great place to live, work and play.About the roleMerri-bek City Council has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Waste Services collection operator.Merri-bek City Councils current kerbside fleet of Side Loaders plays a crucial role in the delivery of one of Councils most valued essential services. Waste Services ensures that our residential and public place waste is effectively managed, protecting the Citys hygiene while actively supporting best practice waste management, aligned with Council Policy and community expectations to maximise reuse and recycling and reduce waste to landfill.Key aspects of the role include the completion of daily collection rounds promptly, safe operation of waste vehicles, working within a team environment and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
