The successful applicant will support the Ore Processing department to operate in a safe and efficient manner, to meet production targets while maintaining equipment integrity. Reporting to the Ore Processing Mill supervisor, the role is specifically focused on operating our Milling plant and associated equipment.Other key responsibilities include:Ensuring all safety incidents and hazards are reported, documented and learned from.Participating in shift handover meetings and providing quality information and direction to the incoming shift.Completion of all pre-start checks on mobile equipment/vehicles and other equipment requiring pre-start checks.Problem solving and reporting of breakdowns.Compliance to the daily, weekly and shutdown plans.To succeed in this role, you will be an inspiring team player with an excellent work ethic and a can-do attitude.
