The Procurement Lead position will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for the safe and efficient operation of the mine and processing plants. This role involves managing supplier relationships, optimising procurement strategies, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies. Additionally, the Procurement Lead will provide outstanding customer service and support to internal stakeholders, ensuring procurement activities align with operational needs and business objectives.About You:Your knowledge and leadership are vital to your success in this role. Your experience will also include:Strong experience in leading teamsExceptional attention to detail and organisational skillsPositive communications with relevant stakeholders.About The Role:Develop, implement, monitor Contract Management Framework Principles.Undertake Contract Review meetings with all associated stakeholders and report performance.Establish Purchasing Strategies for new projects.Identify and create cost saving opportunities through sound Procurement Guidelines.Lead the issuance of tenders/RFIs/RFQs and evaluate submissions.Negotiate with vendors and understand the market to ensure the best possible prices are obtained for materials and services.Monitor the performance of suppliers relating to pricing, completeness and timeliness of delivery and resolve related difficulties.Identify and create opportunities for cost reduction and value adding by introducing a common approach to preferred supplier arrangements for both goods and services.The Requirements:Demonstrated experience in leading tender processes.Strong understanding of Procurement Management processes.Understanding of stock control and management skills.Bachelors or masters degree in business, Commerce or Contract and Procurement Management (Desirable).APPLY NOW! #J-18808-Ljbffr
