Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro''s Snowy 2.0, Australia''s largest committed renewable energy project. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.Purpose of the Role:Check the construction activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, and documented procedures, using all quality tools necessary to ensure that any identified nonconformance item or workmanship is documented and controlled.Qualifications:Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.White CardExperience:Minimum 2 years'' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferredExperience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects worksGood understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements.Sound knowledge of construction materials and related specifications.Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.Knowledge of Aconex, Glaass, EDMSGood working knowledge of Management SystemGood knowledge of statistical techniques, quality toolsExceptional problem-solving skillsStrong Initiative and proactive natureStrong stakeholder management skills across different levelsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed time management skillsHigh attention to detailExceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Undertake quality inspections on site and in subcontractors'' worksites to ensure conformity with the relevant ITPs and drawings.Collection of work Lots and Quality Records.Draft of Non-Conformances Reports (NCR).Verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions proposed in the NCR.Defects management.Attend regular Quality and Construction meetings in his own area of responsibility.Review and consult with Site Operation Quality Coordinator on matters of surveillance and inspection, regarding subcontracted works.Communicate and resolve any construction quality issues proactively with relevant site supervisor.Any other duties as directed by the Site Operation Quality Coordinator and/or Construction Quality Control Lead.Comply with FGJV policies and procedures as amended from time to time.The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
