Add expected salary to your profile for insights.Jeld Industries is a growing business based in Central Queensland providing specialised professional services to the Mining, Manufacturing, Power Generation, Construction and Oil & Gas industries.We supply specialised labour and management solutions tailored to our clients'' needs focusing on Shutdowns, Projects and Asset Management requirements.About the roleAs part of our partnership with a global asset owner, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of Hazardous Area Upgrade Projects.This position involves managing all aspects of electrical project development, from planning to implementation, ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage project activities to ensure timely completion of Hazardous Areas Action List.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track and deliver assigned tasks.Categorize defects into logical project groups or minor work orders.Define and document repair/rectification scopes of work.Develop preliminary design concepts for discussion with design engineers.Prepare budget estimates (+/-30%) for rectification work to meet compliance standards.Assist in executing rectification projects as required.Oversee and maintain the Hazardous Area Dossier.Contribute to the development of procedures, training programs, and competency documents.Qualifications & Experience:Electrical Trade Technician or Engineering background.Experience in Supervision and Project Management.Proficiency in estimating and budget preparation.Hazardous Areas Competency (AS60079 - Explosive Atmospheres).An opportunity to join a growing local business.Rewarding hourly rates on offer.Flexible work arrangements - we are willing to work with our clients to commit a best fit for work requirements that suits both their needs and yours.Site compliant vehicle to execute your role.6-12+ months on offer for the right candidate.Please submit your application through Seek, including a detailed cover letter addressing the role and a comprehensive resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
