Add expected salary to your profile for insightsTailored career and development opportunitiesPosition can be based at either Nowra NSW or Williamtown NSWFast paced, dynamic work environmentRaytheon Australia works closely with the Australian Defence Force as its trusted capability partner to deliver some of the most complex and ground-breaking engineering and technology projects in the country.We are currently seeking a bright and energised Project Manager to join our Joint Adversarial Training and Testing Services (JATTS) team.In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by supporting the delivery of complex, state-of-the-art training and testing services designed to keep Australia safe.Reporting to the Program Manager, you will contribute to the success of our business through planning, coordinating, and executing program support activities, ensuring all contractual obligations are achieved, meeting or exceeding customer expectations and striving to ensure the program meets Raytheons business goals.In return, we will support you with access to best practice tools, systems and processes while continually investing in your growth by providing tailored learning and development opportunities.The roleThe Raytheon Australia JATTS program provides aerial target, live opposing forces, electronic warfare, identification friend or foe testing and advanced threat simulation services to the ADF. The program operates from Williamtown and Nowra, NSW. As one of the leaders of this program, your responsibilities include:Key ResponsibilitiesProgress and status reporting to meet AWSPO customer and Raytheon requirements.Coordination of program Task Priced, Survey & Quote, and Adhoc activities in response to customer requests.Assess, identify, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities in accordance with the companys policies.Provide support to the JATTS budget development, schedule, and program reporting (Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) in accordance with Raytheon approved processes.Establishment of support requirements with support agencies (internal Raytheon Australia and external vendors).Manage and coordinate external resources (vendors and support agencies).Support the Program Manager in actively managing subcontractors performance to ensure that they provide the level and quality of service contracted.Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Participate in and contribute to the identification and development of program growth opportunities and proposals.Skills, Experience and QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Electrical, Electronic Engineering (or equivalent discipline), Business or Project Management, or relevant experience.At least three (3) years prior relevant experience in a same or similar role.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to establish strong working relationships and build customer rapport to influence stakeholders for the best program outcomes.Practical knowledge of leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within a job area.Prior experience working at a management/team lead level within an Integrated Team project environment.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to Negative Vetting Level 1.
