We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee the complete restructuring of a large facility. This is a 12-month contract opportunity where you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of the entire facility restructure project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects, with a particular focus on navigating local council requirements and obtaining necessary permits. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the facility restructure project, from inception to completion.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Work closely with local councils and government agencies to navigate regulatory requirements and secure necessary permits.Ensure compliance with all local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.Oversee budget management and ensure project milestones are met within financial constraints.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure effective execution of the plan.Regularly report to senior management on progress, issues, and potential risks.Resolve project-related challenges and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely completion.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale facility or infrastructure projects.Strong background in working with councils, local government agencies, and regulatory bodies to secure permits and ensure compliance.Experience managing the planning, design, and construction phases of facility restructuring or renovations.Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to different audiences.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts efficiently.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software.Previous experience managing budgets, timelines, and large project teams.Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).Familiarity with local council policies and regulations in Lara/Geelong.Experience in facilities management or infrastructure upgrades.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
