Future opportunities throughout Indo-Pacific Region; including but not limited to Hawaii, Philippines, Australia, and GuamPositionSLS is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (PM) interested in international travel to join a fast-growing and dynamic Federal Division that is aggressively pursuing civil infrastructure opportunities across the Indo-Pacific Region with federal clients, such as the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC).Directly responsible for the operational and financial success of a single mega project ($250M+) or multiple smaller projects ($5M to $100M+), and for developing cohesive and effective project management teams consisting of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with varying levels of experience. Responsible for managing key internal and external stakeholder interactions, to include cultivating and maintaining healthy client relationships.The Sr. PM is expected to be on-site most of the time, but occasional travel between project sites, client offices, and subcontractor/supplier facilities is anticipated. Expected to participate in ongoing business pursuits to help develop a robust backlog of projects for which the Sr. PM will execute. The Sr. PM will be responsible to a Project Executive or Program Manager for the profit and loss of its project portfolio.ResponsibilitiesSr. Project Manager reporting to an experienced Project Executive or Program Manager.Develop and manage a cohesive and effective project management team.Manage projects profit & loss to preserve profitability throughout the projects life cycle.Manage and maintain a healthy client relationship while protecting company interests.Manage construction operations through the Construction Manager or Superintendent.Provide oversight of the design program to be managed by the Designer of Record.Provide oversight of the safety program to be managed by the Safety Manager.Provide oversight of the quality program to be managed by the QC Manager.Provide oversight and management of the project schedule through the Scheduler.Provide oversight and management of AR and AP through the Project Comptroller.Negotiate and execute contracts and purchase orders with subcontractors and suppliers.Chair weekly and/or monthly project meetings with all interested stakeholders.Communicate frequently and effectively to ensure the project team is well informed.Ensure all contract requirements, administrative or otherwise, are satisfied in a timely manner.Identify and advocate internally for any and all resources necessary for project success.Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Project Executive or Program Manager.QualificationsB.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; required.10+ yrs experience as PM for heavy civil infrastructure projects valued $100M+; required.Advanced Degree (MBA, MS) or Professional Registration (PMP, PE); preferred.Experience working on federal project with DOD/USACE/NAVFAC; strongly desired.Experience managing large project teams of diverse professionals; preferred.Ability to speak, read and write fluent English; required.Ability to successfully pass background/security check; required.Secret or above Security Clearance; strongly desired.Proficiency with a computer and with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel); required.Proficient with Primavera P6; preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
