Were looking for an Admin Officer to become the backbone of our operations, keeping things running smoothly across bookings, customer service, social media, and accounts.This role is perfect for someone who loves variety in their day, takes pride in top-notch communication, and enjoys supporting a growing trade business from the inside out.Key ResponsibilitiesJob Bookings & SchedulingCoordinate and schedule electrician jobs efficiently.Confirm job details with clients by phone (not just email!) the day before appointments.Keep our job management system (simPRO) up to date.Communicate daily schedules to the team, ensuring everyones set for success.Social Media & MarketingCreate, schedule, and post content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.Respond to comments/messages and engage with our online community.Assist with creating marketing materials like flyers and newsletters when needed.Customer Service & CommunicationBe the friendly first point of contact via phone and email.Provide quotes, handle inquiries, and follow up on outstanding invoices.Keep communication personal and professional phone over email wherever possible.Office AdministrationKeep the office stocked, tidy, and running smoothly (supplies, PPE, mail).Support with filing, data entry, and day-to-day admin tasks.Documentation & ComplianceStay on top of licenses, insurances, and certifications.Maintain employee training and qualification records.Help with compliance-related reporting.General SupportSupport the Managing Director with reports, meetings, calendar management.Step in to assist with projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.Be the go-to contact when the MD is unavailable.What Youll BringPrior admin or office management experience (preferably in trades or services)Excellent phone manner and people skillsStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesConfidence using job management software (simPRO experience a plus)Social media savvyBasic bookkeeping knowledge (Xero)A can-do attitude and team-first mindsetSome sales experience would be advantageous.What We OfferA supportive and friendly team environmentFlexible work hours (if applicable)Opportunities to grow with the businessModern office and amenities that make your life easierBe part of a company that values your input and celebrates wins togetherReady to join a growing business where your work truly makes a difference?
