About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Fitness Centre Manager to join our team at the Yaralla Fitness Centre in Gladstone, Queensland. As the Fitness Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art fitness facility, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and the effective management of our team of fitness professionals.What you''ll be doingDeveloping and implementing strategic plans to drive the growth and profitability of the fitness centreOverseeing the recruitment, training, and management of fitness instructors and other staffEnsuring the maintenance and upkeep of all fitness equipment and facilitiesDeveloping and managing the centre''s marketing and promotional strategiesMonitoring and analysing financial performance, and making data-driven decisions to improve the centre''s operationsFostering a positive and inclusive environment for members and staffEnsuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulationsWhat we''re looking forMinimum 5 years of experience in a fitness centre management role, preferably within the sport and recreation industryStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of fitness professionalsExcellent customer service skills and a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of fitness centre membersStrong financial management skills, including the ability to analyse data and make informed business decisionsProficiency in the use of fitness centre management software and other relevant technologyA passion for health, fitness, and promoting an active lifestyleRelevant tertiary qualifications in Sport and Recreation Management, Business Management, or a related fieldWhat we offerAt the Yaralla Fitness Centre, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
