The RoleThe Technical Integrity Officer (TIO) role is responsible for the technical compliance of Joint Logistics Unit - Victoria (Puckapunyal) in accordance with Defences Land Materiel Safety Frameworks.The successful candidate will work in a diverse team of Commonwealth and Industry Partners who conduct maintenance and storage of military equipment and vehicles. The role requires a strong technical background in a mechanical or electrical/electronic trade with experience in conducting technical audits and maintaining compliance within the Land Materiel Safety Framework.The TIO will collaborate with the Maintenance Service Provider with regard to providing technical and regulatory advice, identifying safety/environmental hazards, and providing input into Safe Method Work Statements and Risk Assessments.The TIO will assign technical authority to Commonwealth and Industry Partner technical staff. The incumbent will also be responsible as a design lead with local engineering proposals and activities.You will work closely with the APS 6 Maintenance Manager, APS 6 Technical Integrity Manager (HQ Bandiana), Industry Partners, Site Supervisor, and will manage APS 4 TIO at Puckapunyal.About our TeamThe team is a group of collaborative and skilled individuals who strive to create a supportive and positive working environment.
