We are focused on personnel wellbeing, employee engagement, inclusion and supporting our team through all phases of their employment with our company.ROLE OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Coordinator to join our team and support maintenance and shutdown programs with one of the worlds biggest mining companies.RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise subcontractors in coordinating all mechanical activitiesReview, assist with the development of, and approve work packsCoach for effective toolbox meetingsProvide a safe working environment and ensure compliance to policies and proceduresLead and embed the safety interaction, CRM and PTHA processes with your teamFacilitate an accurate schedule and drive scheduled compliance & time confirmationsEnsure work packs are updated for continuous improvement, completed and returned for processingComplete Pre and Post Shutdown activitiesROSTERInitially, you will be working a Monday Friday roster during Pre shutdown planning activities. However, once the shutdown commences, it is envisaged you will then work extended hours (12 hour days) on a 13 day on, 1 day off roster, before returning to a Monday Friday roster for Post shutdown activities.SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCESenior Supervisory Experience within the industryExperience working on Construction, Mining or Oil & Gas projectsDedicated and strong commitment to HSEStrong leadership and people management skillsABOUT USEstablished in 2019, Gravity Resources is a dynamic, versatile and results-driven consultancy that provides Technical Recruitment and Project Support services to our clients.
