Southern Cotton are looking for a Night Shift Supervisor to join our team based at our Cotton Gin in Whitton.Shift: Night ShiftJob Type: Full-TimeAbout Us:At Southern Cotton we pride ourselves on providing top-quality services to our customers. As we continue to grow, were looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our night shift warehouse operations. If you''re an organized, efficient, and motivated leader with a strong background in warehouse supervision, we want to hear from you!During the season (April to approx. September) the Warehouse supervisor will work night shift. During the offseason there may be some limited evening or night work, but the majority of work would be performed on day shift.Job Responsibilities:Supervise all warehouse operations during the night shift.Lead and train the team of forklift operators ensuring safety, productivity and quality standards are met.Oversee inventory control, sorting, scanning and export lot creation including warehouse scanning of inbound and outbound bales.Ensure proper handling and storage of all goods, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices.Provide regular updates to warehouse manager on shift performance, issues, and resolutions.Resolve employee conflicts and ensure all team members work effectively together.Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and inventory levels.Qualifications:Proven experience in warehouse operations or a related field (at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred).Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.Forklift certification and experience essential.Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.Availability to work the night shift and be flexible to adjust hours when necessary.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Central location with easy access from Griffith, Leeton & Darlington Point.A positive and supportive work environment.If you are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for warehouse management, we encourage you to apply and join our team! #J-18808-Ljbffr
