This role is for a 6-month fixed term.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for:Reviewing and updating existing content (policies, processes, document templates, and audits) to reflect industry requirements and best practices.Developing new content as needed, using existing formatting, language, and style.Liaising with internal subject matter experts to clarify requirements.Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of aged care reforms, policies, and regulations.Performing other functions as directed by Quality and Governance Program Lead or their delegate.Skills & Qualifications:To be successful you will have:Demonstrated experience in a Quality role in residential aged care and/or home care particularly in developing policies, processes and related resources.Strong understanding of operational practices in aged care and high level of interest in supporting providers to achieve optimal outcomes for their consumers.Excellent written communication skills with strong ability to successfully communicate complex information to a wide audience including to people of different language and literacy levels.Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage timelines and engage with stakeholders.Self-motivated with capacity to work efficiently and effectively while meeting defined deadlines, high attention to detail and accuracy including proofreading and formatting documents, managing spreadsheets etc.High degree of ICT proficiency with advanced knowledge and skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word).Strong work ethic and work history that would evidence commitment to Ageing Australia values and a genuine passion for aged care.We require federal police check as an essential selection component for this role, please consider this requirement when submitting your application.How to apply: Click the Apply button and submit with your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Are you legally entitled to work in Australia?Please detail your minimum salary expectations (including super):Ageing Australia requires a criminal history check to be performed for its employees.
