We aim to cultivate a work environment that reflects and celebrates the unique backgrounds and experiences of our employees, while also engaging them meaningfully and giving them the opportunity to develop and succeed.The RoleThe Document Controller reports to the Business Support Team Leader and is responsible for the administration and control of all documents and records associated with the management system.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the Documents Register, assigning all new document numbers, revision numbers, types and updating workflow progress and metrics.Ensure that documents are work flowed in compliance to the documented process, ISO 9001 and corporate requirements.Ensure receipt of electronic documents from the document author and formal (quality) check before further distribution or issuance to the KMS. Ensure correction of minor flaws and formatting issues if observed.Distribution of electronic documents for review, approval and use.Organisation and management of client reviews, inter-discipline reviews, etc.Withdrawal and archiving of obsolete electronic documents.Filing, storage and archiving of electronic documents at all required stages.Interfacing with EPCM subcontractors and engineering service providers for the timely transfer of contractual documentation, management of work packages and provision of standards, specifications, design criteria, etc.Manage document control tools, improve existing tools or develop new tools.Monitor, initiate and manage the periodic reviews of controlled documents.Generate and issue reports in relation to document control processes.Assist the operations departments in the design of the processes for the archiving of their records.Escalate Document Control related issues with the Business Support Team Leader.About YouAlbemarle is a values-driven company that appreciates and promotes resilience, equity, inclusion and diversity of background, experience and expertise.
