Manager Business Services, Clerk Grade 9/10, GoulburnWork in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSW1x Full time ongoing roleLocation: Based in Goulburn NSW, supporting NSW SES South Eastern ZoneAbout the opportunityThe Manager Business Services is an exciting role which works within the Zone management team of the NSW SES. Included within the Finance, Assets and Business Services Directorate, the role is responsible for providing management and support of staff, financial management including budget activities, relationship management with Councils regarding facilities management, and working with other functional managers to ensure effective and efficient support services are in place for Zone members.About the NSW SESOur Mission: NSW SES saving lives and creating safer communities.Our Vision: A trusted volunteer-based emergency service, working together to deliver excellence in community preparedness and emergency response.The NSW SES serves the community as the lead agency for Floods, Storms, and Tsunamis. Our volunteers are highly skilled, experienced, and well-trained in the wide variety of roles they perform.With over 10,000 volunteers, we are committed to protecting and supporting the diverse communities of NSW.About youTo be successful in this role you will have:Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience in a business management environment with astute financial management skillsExperience in managing business support services including finance, procurement, facilities, and fleet assetsExperience in partnering with other managers on budget preparation and analysis of financial performanceA passion for serving the community through emergency managementWillingness to travel and work out-of-hours as requiredWhat we can offer youMaximum TRP $177,084.50 (salary range $125,693.00 - $138,510.00). Total remuneration package includes salary plus employer''s 11.5% contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading plus 15% field allowance.You will enjoy a 35-hour work week, with the potential for flexible work arrangements depending on the requirements of the role and within operational needs.Our work is meaningful and rewarding.
