Its purpose is to hear and determine matters in a fair, timely, efficient and accessible way. Operating in Melbourne and at 11 regional locations, the County Court presides over more than 10,000 cases a year across Criminal, Commercial and Common Law.About the RoleReporting to the Chief Judge, the CEO leads over 300 staff to provide judicial support in court and chambers and perform public facing registry services. The CEO is accountable for the Court''s administrative services and with the Chief Judge drives the to be an innovative, accessible court delivering fair, transparent and efficient justice.The role is influential in driving positive reform to operations, optimising the utilisation of resources and developing programs that enhance the Court''s sustainability. In leading a multi-disciplinary team, the CEO will uphold exemplary standards and foster a high-performing, accountable and transparent culture.Working collaboratively with, and reporting on some matters to the CEO of Court Services Victoria (CSV), the appointee will play a key role in the realisation of the benefits of the CSV shared services model.
