EL2 Director, Portfolio AssuranceEL2 Hourly Rate (Labour Hire Contract)Woden Office with Hybrid Arrangements12-month contract + 2 x 12 Month ExtensionsBaseline Clearance RequiredWeekly PayAbout the roleMy client is seeking an EL2 Director, Portfolio Assurance within the Policy Programs and Engagement Division.Policy, Programs & Engagement Division - responsible for informing policies, managing external stakeholder relationships, and being the place of excellence for driving national programs, portfolio priorities and outcomes.Primary purpose of positionThe Director will be responsible for leading and supporting a small team to, but not limited to:Owning and managing the portfolio, program and project assurance frameworks across the Agency and in line with the Digital Transformation Agency to set requirements for the Agencys portfolio of programs and projectsLeading and conducting independent assurance reviews of the Agencys portfolio of programs and projects with pragmatic recommendations, including facilitating lessons learnt reviews of programs and projectsOverseeing external assurance activities and regular external reporting for programs/projectsAssisting business areas with project portfolio capabilities, including knowledge management, assurance, and ensuring adherence to appropriate process based on risk and complexity profilesProviding oversight and reviewAbout youYou will be experienced in and able to demonstrate the following:10+ years experience in enterprise portfolio management office or large program management office both in public and private sectorsExperience of delivery program and project management services within both waterfall and agile project approachesTertiary qualification(s) in program management, IT or business-related disciplines including any certifications in PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, P3O or similar will be highly regardedApplication Requirements:Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.Hold a current Baseline Clearance.How to apply:If this role is of interest to you, APPLY NOW, with your current resume in MS Word format along with an expression of interest.
