Along with your strong customer focus, attention to detail and commitment to teamwork, you will also have a sound knowledge of business planning, financial forecasting and relish in undertaking market research. You will also possess:Knowledge of Indigenous communities, cultures, and challenges affecting Indigenous Australians in business (Indigenous-identified applicants encouraged to apply).Demonstrated exposure to business planning, market research, and financial planning.Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in financial analysis and understanding of cash flow and P&L.Ability to support customers facing financial difficulty and aid in their recovery.Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing, commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience.THE ROLE: As a Business Strategic Advisor, you will engage with emerging Indigenous businesses, introducing them to the support services available. You will cultivate trust-based relationships with these businesses and financial partners, offering timely and strategic business advice. Your responsibilities will include assisting in deal structuring, conducting financial analysis, and preparing proposals and reports.
