They are committed to driving value through innovation and are seeking to continually expand their operations and market presence through M&A domestically and offshore.In support of this, they are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Corporate Development to join their growing finance team to support the CFO in financial decision-making processes and strategic growth initiatives.You will have broad ranging responsibilities including leading an active pipeline of M&A opportunities from early due diligence through to execution, assisting the build out internal models and FP&A capability, conducting ongoing business/performance analysis and assisting in preparing the business for a potential future liquidity event.The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth trajectory and work closely with cross-functional teams and third parties.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the CFO whilst leading M&A transactions, including financial due diligence, negotiations, execution and integration planning.Develop, improve and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, valuation and performance analysis.Conduct in-depth business and performance analysis, identifying key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Prepare and present detailed financial reports and recommendations to senior management.Assist in the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to drive business performance and profitability.Support various ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with post graduate qualifications preferred.8+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a private equity, investment banking or M&A consulting environment - or a within a similar role within a corporate.Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel and other financial software.Hands on M&A deal execution experience.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.* Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to converting to a permanent role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
