The Commission is seeking to expand its litigation practice to conduct more litigation on behalf of the Commission, including civil penalty proceedings and judicial review applications before the Federal Court, merits review applications before the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), and representing the Commission in coronial inquiries and inquests.About the roleAs Senior Lawyer in the Litigation Team, you will have primary carriage of a number of litigation matters assigned to you and you will lead the team working on each of those matters. The role would suit litigators with at least seven (7) years experience in the areas of civil penalty litigation and/or administrative law litigation, who are also exceptional leaders and mentors.
