Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$70,000.00/yr - A$90,000.00/yrYour role:The Medical Scientist - Pathology role is varied and allows you to carry out analysis and investigations in laboratories and hospitals, domestically and on deployments.Your work may be familiar as you perform haematology investigations, blood serology and microbiological analysis while managing instrumentation and resources. The clinicians youll be advising will be Air Force officers whose patients are members of the Australian Defence Force.As an officer youll be an inspirational leader and mentor too, further developing your management and leadership skills as you run a small lab team and take responsibility for the quality of analytical output.The NATA accredited laboratory is located at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland.Life in the Air Force:Theres no career that compares to one in the Air Force.
