You will work closely with operational teams to ensure compliance with industrial instruments and employment legislation while fostering a fair and productive workplace.Key responsibilities include:Managing workplace grievances, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processesInterpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements, providing timely and accurate adviceActing as the escalation point for complex ER cases, including matters involving union representationDelivering ER training to empower managers in effectively handling employee relations mattersOverseeing compliance aspects, including visa tracking, parental leave, and flexible work requestsAbout YouWe are looking for a proactive and commercially minded IR/ER professional who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. You will have:A degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in an Employee Relations/Industrial Relations roleStrong knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards, and Enterprise AgreementsExperience handling performance management, workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, and terminationsPrior exposure to a unionised workforce, including union negotiations and dispute resolutionThis role is perfect for someone who is both proactive and reactive in handling people management issues, with a strong focus on compliance and process improvement.
