We are rapidly building a reputation for growth and success based on an exceptional "YES WE CAN" customer service offering and quality product in the highly competitive market.About the roleAs the Scheduling Supervisor at Supagas Darwin, you''ll play a pivotal role in coordinating daily fleet deliveries from terminals to customers and commercial sites, while optimizing processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.Youll oversee and lead delivery operations across the Northern Territory and Eastern Kimberley, developing efficient driver schedules to ensure timely deliveries while meeting customer service requirements.You will:Plan, create and manage the allocated delivery schedule, assign resources to the schedule, monitor and track progress of deliveries according to the schedule created.Ensure that the fleet operates efficiently by minimizing operating costs through effective load maximization, route planning, and driver scheduling.Liaise and communicate with company drivers, customers, and transport sub-contractors on a daily basis.Monitor operational KPI for improvement.Actively engage in a positive safety culture.Drive and implement improved scheduling opportunities for bulk and cylinder gas deliveries.Monitor customer data for accuracy.Monitor driver performance and report to Manager while also assisting with ongoing driver development and training.Manage one direct report.You possess:Prior experience in scheduling or transport industry (desirable).Computer literacy skills at an intermediate level.Precise attention to detail.A good understanding of Basic Fatigue Management (BFM).Ability to handle changing situations under pressure and make optimal logistic decisions.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with all levels across the business, and work collaboratively within teams.A keen interest in and drive to seek out improvements that support business objectives.Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.Ability to think strategically and commercially, with both a creative and analytical approach.Adaptability and flexibility to staffing plans and schedules.Approachability and accessibility, with a willingness to support and guide team members.Customer-centric approach.What we offer?We provide uniforms.Long-term stability.Real essence of family and community across the team.Ongoing professional development and career opportunities.Access to Employee Assistance Program.Refer a friend and earn extra money by participating in our national employee referral program.Access to a variety of employee initiatives and benefits across 1,700 brands, institutions, and companies.
