Details - Animal Welfare and Biosafety OfficerAnimal Welfare and Biosafety OfficerJob No.: 568850Work type: Continuing Full time, continuing position La Trobe Bundoora Campus Location Higher Education Officer Level 7About the positionThe Animal Ethics and Biosafety Compliance Officer will play a key role in supporting the Ethics, Integrity and Biosafety team to uphold the highest standards of animal welfare and ethical conduct across all breeding, training, and research activities involving animals at the University.This position is responsible for ensuring strict compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, including the Australian Code for the Care and Use of Animals for Scientific Purposes (the Animal Code) and the Victorian Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986.
