We provide a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop their God-given talents and prepare for lives of leadership and service.The Role - Humanities, Psychology & PE TeacherA fixed term part-time (3 days) position is now available for an experienced Humanities Teacher, Psychology & PE Teacher. The role is a parental leave position available from the commencement of term 2 until the end of the school year (2025).The Successful Candidate will have:the desire to teach in an environment where both Christian values and academic excellence are emphasiseda passion for teaching the next generationrelevant qualifications with VIT registration and commitment to professional learninga proven record of field-work experience and/or relevant tertiary qualificationsKey Responsibilities:Assess students'' skills to design a flexible, personalised Humanities, Psychology & PE curriculum that addresses their unique needs and goals.Continuously improve teaching strategies and activities by integrating student feedback and assessment data to refine lesson plans and delivery.Create student-centred activities that encourage exploration and innovation in product design, fostering the practical application of theoretical concepts.Establish high expectations to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment, promoting creativity and problem-solving.Skills and Experience:Proven experience teaching Humanities, Psychology & PE to students in Years 7-12.A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering both academic and personal growth in students.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex design concepts and engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.Dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying current with trends in Humanities, Psychology & PE and maintaining a proactive approach to teaching.VIT Registration.Strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of CREST Education.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.CREST Education is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
