We are seeking talented and experienced staff to join our team and help us deliver a high-quality dining experience to our guests.Ministry of Crab is a renowned international brand established in Sri Lanka in 2011, and now has multiple locations across Asia. Ranked in Asia''s Top 50 best restaurants between 2015-2021, Ministry of Crab will now soon be another addition to the Melbourne food scene serving locally sourced Mud crabs and prawns from Northern Territory and Queensland. Our cooking style encompasses Japanese techniques with Sri Lankan spices and Mediterranean flavours.As floor staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, dealing with customers in a polite and friendly manner, understanding and explaining the menu, as well as delivering various dishes and beverages to our exacting standards. You will work closely with our Venue Manager, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure that all actions and tasks are completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised workstation and have a good understanding of, and being hands-on with all HACCP procedures.The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in a premium dining restaurant and will be passionate about creativity and innovation of menu items. You must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
