With a focus on integrity, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we strive to empower individuals to achieve their financial goals.About the roleAs a Customer Service & Collections Officer, you will be responsible for providing a friendly and professional service to our valued customers from our modern Contact Centre located close to Miami Beach on the Gold Coast.You will be responsible for your own portfolio of accounts that will require your daily attention to ensure your customers are up to date with their loan repayments. You will be required to contact customers via telephone, email, SMS and post who are in arrears up to 120 days to negotiate catch up payment arrangements to avoid further escalation of their accounts.Key Responsibilities:Contacting customers via telephone, email, SMS or postal mail to discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment plansUsing effective negotiation techniques to reach mutually beneficial agreements for debt repayment.Providing courteous and professional assistance to customers while maintaining a firm stance on the collection processAdvising customers on the consequences of not repaying us including Defaults, Repossession, and legal RecoveryUsing skip tracing tools to locate non-paying customers who we have lost contact withAddressing and resolving any issues or disputes related to outstanding debts in a timely and efficient mannerAccurately documenting in our CRM all communication and payment arrangements with customersCollaborating with colleagues to optimise customer service and collection strategies to achieve team goals.Required skills:Experience in Customer Service, Collections, Finance or Sales.Good time management, organisational and prioritisation skillsExcellent customer service and negotiating skillsAble to handle high pressure environments, remaining calm, courteous and methodical while demonstrating empathy to the customer as well as a determined and focused results orientationA team player, pitching in to help colleagues in a fast-paced environmentWhy Rapid Loans?We have each others back and enjoy coming to work every day.
