An opportunity exists for a scientist with a passion for Microbiology to join the NSW Health Pathology Microbiology Department laboratory team nestled in the Liverpool Hospital Precinct as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. We have two positions available: a permanent full-time and a permanent part-time (24-32 hrs/week) Medical Laboratory Scientist.We are seeking a level-headed person with good laboratory skills, an eye for detail, good organizational skills, and excellent communication and teaching skills. You will be working with a dedicated team of Scientists, providing quality services to South Western Sydney Local Health District network patients.Continued professional development is essential in this role, and opportunities will be provided to support these activities. Once trained, you will be required to participate in a 24/7 roster and supervise after-hour shifts on a rostered basis.
