If our mission resonates with you, consider a career with CleanCo.About The OpportunityReporting to the Health & Safety Manager, this role will lead the development, implementation, and governance of CleanCos safe work and electrical safety frameworks. Youll work closely with stakeholders across our renewable power generation sites in QLD and lead the ongoing development and implementation of compliant and contemporary approaches to safe access for plant and electrical safety, specifically within operations and maintenance. This is a permanent position with the flexibility to reside near one of our generating assets across QLD, and spend a mix of your time in the office, across our sites and from home.Key responsibilities:Safe Work System Management & Governance: Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and oversight of CleanCos safe work system strategies, procedures, training, and compliance across the asset portfolio.Electrical Safety Management & Governance: Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and oversight of electrical safety strategies, procedures, training, and compliance across the asset portfolio.Incident Management & Reporting: Support incident investigations, communications and learnings for electrical safety and safe work events.General Health and Safety Integration: Contribute to the development of health and safety strategies by integrating safety management into business operations and projects.Stakeholder Collaboration & Industry Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring best practices in safe work and electrical safety are upheld across the business.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Extensive experience in electrical safety and safe work systems within high-risk, asset-intensive operational environments such as heavy industry or power generation.Electrical Workers Licence or an Electrical Engineering Advanced Diploma/Degree essential.Proven ability to design, implement, and govern safe work and electrical safety systems and processes.Experience leading Electrical and/or Safe Work Committees, with a focus on governance and stakeholder engagement.Skilled in writing procedures, leading audit programs, change management, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.Ability to interpret and apply regulatory changes in an operational context.Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or Engineering highly desirable.Cert IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable along with capability to deliver electrical and safe work training across diverse assets.You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.What We Can OfferWe understand that work is just one important aspect of our employees lives.
