Our proprietary loan origination system supports our dealers and distributors to facilitate seamless, convenient and customer focused finance solutions for consumers and businesses.Due to the continued evolution of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Test Analyst to join our Data & Reporting team to make a meaningful contribution to the quality assurance practice in the team.You will be integral to the development of testing strategies across multiple platforms, with Ambit being the primary focus. You will manage the planning, monitoring and execution of all testing activities, showing passion for testing, curiosity and attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesReview requirements/specifications and project & user documentation to develop and align testing requirements.Identify appropriate test strategies, prepare test plans and test cases, including regression suites, that are reusable and demonstrate sound understanding of the platforms.Undertake manual test execution as directed by the Data Test Lead, providing timely and fit-for-purpose test summaries and progress updates.Plan, monitor and coordinate testing activities consistent with the teams sprint cycles.Support and coordinate the business users conducting User Acceptance Testing.Actively follow reported problems encountered in BAU through to resolution and work with the development team for effective resolution of issues & defects.Recommend enterprise test management tools and resources that improve the overall efficiency and management for the delivery team.Continuously assess areas for improvement and contribute to the team efforts to iterate and improve overall.Your backgroundTertiary qualification in IT or equivalent.Extensive experience as a Test Analyst, ideally in the Banking or Financial Services industries, with relevant skills in test automation procedures.Knowledge on visualisation tools, such as Power BI, and intermediate-to-expert query skills in SQL Server and data warehousing.Extensive experience working in an agile environment managing competing priorities and challenging deadlines.Willingness and ability to contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and overarching governance.Proven track record and experience working collaboratively with staff and executives across the business at all levels as well as external stakeholders, preferably in financial services industry.Experience in leading or growing a test team, including sharing knowledge with up-and-coming test analysts.Confidence and ability to structure and communicate material effectively in both written and oral forms.A critical thinker with analytical, planning, organisational and time management skills and capability to work autonomously with minimum supervision.Why work for Allied Credit?Work-life balance hybrid working arrangements allow a balance of working from home and the office, and we are always willing to discuss flexible working options.Wellness day to take a day off for some R&R around your birthday and a Volunteer Day to support your community.Discount offers on selected retailers, car loans and novated leasing options.A learning environment where we take your development and career aspirations seriously.16 weeks of paid parental leave along with Salary Continuance Insurance.We want individuals who will buy into and thrive with Allied Credits Values of Customer Focus, Adaptability, Risk Confidence, Integrity and Teamwork.Allied Credit pledges to treat all candidates with the utmost respect and professionalism throughout the recruitment process.
