Experience the rewards of making a difference in older peoples lives by showing compassion and providing high quality safe care.The opportunityThe Royal Freemasons community is currently seeking experienced and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) to join our team at Coppin Centre Residential Aged Care Facility in Melbourne.As a valued member of our clinical team, you will be pivotal in supporting the Registered Nurses and other clinical staff with the delivery of safe, high quality and contemporary clinical care to our residents. You will play an important role ensuring a resident-centric approach and high level of care and support is provided to our residents at all times.We currently have shifts available Monday to Friday 0700-1500.Key responsibilities includeProvision of hands-on care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Delivering thorough assessments, ensuring exceptional reporting, and contributing to comprehensive care plan evaluations for residents.Provide quality resident care in accordance with current care plan.To promote best practice interventions that will lead to positive health outcomes.BenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annum.Better work-life balance with consistent fortnightly rosters patterns for permanent positions - no rotating rosters!Career development, mentoring and leadership opportunities available.Confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program.Ongoing training and support; we care about your personal and professional development.Employee Referral Program - refer a friend and be rewarded.Free onsite parking.Qualifications, knowledge and experience required for the roleCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents.Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, care plans.Other requirementsIt is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine; all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.Why work for Royal Freemasons?We are an established and highly regarded Not-for-Profit provider of Aged Care Services across the Residential, Home Care and Retirement Living sectors.
