In this role you will work on a large, transdisciplinary project funded by the One Basin Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) (OneBasin CRC) and its partners which is aimed at understanding and supporting transitions in digital irrigation in the Murray Darling Basin with a focus on agricultural extension and advisor systems. You will contribute to this project and other activities in both the School and the OneBasin CRC and make significant contributions to research that advance academic knowledge and benefit Murray Darling Basin agricultural communities, as well as the broader community, through effective engagement and outreach activities.The successful applicant will be based regionally at one of the OneBasin CRC hubs in either Midura in Victoria or Griffith in New South Wales and will be required to travel throughout the Murray Darling Basin for research activities, events and meetings.They will work closely with the Agricultural Economics Group and the Rural Innovation Research Group in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystems Sciences and project partners in the OneBasin CRC.We encourage applicants from under-represented groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
