OverviewThis position is in Ramsey NJ - Candidate must be able to commute to the location.Develop and Implement Compliance Policies: Create and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.Conduct Audits: Plan, execute, and manage IT compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.J-SOX Compliance: Ensure that IT systems and processes comply with J-SOX requirements, including the design and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.ITIL Framework: Implement and manage ITIL processes to ensure efficient and effective IT service management.Problem Management: Identify, analyze, and resolve IT problems to minimize the impact on business operations. Run monthly meetings with IT teams to develop RCAs (Root cause analysis) and corrective actions.Change Management: Oversee and manage the IT change management process to ensure that changes to IT systems are rigorously evaluated, approved, and implemented.Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments of IT systems and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and external auditors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters and best practices.Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact IT compliance and prepare compliance reports and documentation.Remediation Efforts: Lead remediation efforts for identified control deficiencies and ensure timely resolution.ResponsibilitiesIT Compliance Frameworks: A deep understanding of IT compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and J-SOX is crucial. This includes knowledge of regulatory guidelines and security policies.IT Systems and Processes: Familiarity with IT systems, including computer hardware, operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup, application development life cycle, networking, testing, and capacity planning.Business Systems: Experience managing a broad range of business systems, including email, collaboration tools, websites, data warehouses, CRM, and ERP systems.Skills:Organizational Skills: The ability to juggle multiple tasks within set deadlines and ensure all employees are aware of the rules and regulations for maintaining compliance.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey compliance requirements and policies to staff and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: The ability to identify, analyze, and resolve IT problems to minimize the impact on business operations.Project Management: Excellent project management skills to oversee compliance initiatives and ensure timely completion.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess risks, conduct audits, and identify areas for improvement.Abilities:Leadership: The ability to provide leadership and direction to a highly technical team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaboration: The ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, Finance, and external auditors, to ensure compliance.Adaptability: The ability to stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact IT compliance and adapt policies and procedures accordingly.QualificationsThis job description is not intended to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
