Working closely with the Head of Finance and other Senior Executives, this role will ensure the appropriate commercial structures, initiatives and processes are in place to maximise revenue across the Airline''s commercial ecosystem.This role sits in the "flight deck" of the International business with a remit across the entire International revenue organisation including our joint business and Alliances. You will be responsible for shaping key aspects of the network and fleet strategy, leading forecasting and performance delivery as well as identifying and driving revenue opportunity initiatives.Youll Be Accountable For:Delivering appropriately controlled, accounted for and understood financial results across the entire P&L and Balance Sheet (e.g. Revenue Recognised In Advance & Qantas Points Accounting)Producing revenue forecasts / budget and insightful information for management reporting and decision makingIdentification of key performance gaps through analysis against business drivers (route groups, customer segments, channels, POS)Management & performance reporting, linking financial and non-financial key performance indicators and communicating results to key stakeholders to inform short and long term strategic prioritiesIdentifying and developing initiatives to enhance process efficiency, performance and value of reporting mechanismsManaging and closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into finance planningManaging Internal Audit and Risk & Management responsibilitiesLeading, developing, and implementing critical relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProviding coaching and mentoring to the team to ensure their growth, development, and performanceYoull Have:5- 7 years+ relevant experience Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business or other relevant disciplineExtensive financial knowledge and experience (CPA/CA/equivalent)Ability to positively influence stakeholders to overcome roadblocks to deliver successful outcomes.Superior communication and influencing skillsIntellectual capability to quickly understand, apply, and embed new concepts in a complex business environmentStrong sense of urgency, focus on outcomes and drive for successAbility to work in cross functional teams and to lead to successful business outcomesStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting objectives in order to deliver key milestonesDemonstrated analytical, financial and/or problem solving skillsWhy Qantas?Youll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
