We have a relentless focus on achievement, learning and continuous improvement.The OpportunityJames Hardie has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our dynamic HR team on a maternity leave contract to be based at our office right in the heart of Sydney CBD.In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of all payroll related requirements governing our ANZ business across the APAC region.What you''ll doProcess the payroll in a timely manner aligned with the payroll calendar and within SOX guidelines, also managing off cycle payroll payments ensuring compliance with statutory and company policy.Maintain a high level of accuracy when processing payment of employee salary, wages, and relevant benefits / oncosts.Work with the HR Operations team, business, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.Frequently maintain accurate Payroll Database with documentation provided by relevant stakeholders.Maintain a high level of service to all customers (internal & external).Ensure the documentation of ANZ processes as relates to payroll practices for the Waged employee pay groups.Calculate and process all termination payments in line with statutory and company policy requirements.Calculations and payment of all month end procedures e.g., Payroll Tax, GL queries and reconciliation, Company tax obligations as it relates to Payroll, ensuring all End of Pay and End of Month statutory obligations are met.Consistently find ways to improve our processes in line with the changing needs of the business.Contribute to the development of technology driven solutions, which add value & improve the efficiency & effectiveness of HR processes & tools.Actively contribute to projects and deliver to agreed outputs within the project scope.What you''ll bringMinimum 2 years'' experience as a Senior Payroll Officer, with high level of competency in managing end-to-end payroll in Australia.
