In this role, you will work closely with brokers to deliver exceptional service, support Senior Underwriters, and contribute to the growth and success of Rural Affinity. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and make a real impact in the agricultural insurance sector.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite new business, renewals and endorsements within the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with underwriting guidelines to achieve our underwriting objectives.Provide professional and market leading service to brokers, ensuring a high degree of accuracy when processing transactions and service delivery standards are met.Support senior underwriters with signing off referrals of team members with lower delegated authority limits, providing meaningful and constructive feedback.Develop a sound understanding of the various portfolio performance/monitoring metrics shared by the Product Management team.Engage in project work on an ad hoc basis as required by the Product Management team.About YouMinimum 2-3 years experience in underwriting, broking or related role.Proven expertise in underwriting, insurance principles and product knowledge.Experience in or exposure to agriculture preferred.AQF Certificate IV in General Insurance (FNS41415) or AQF Diploma of General Insurance (FNS51115).Strong business acumen with proven capability to both analyse and use data to inform decision making.Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.Contributes positively to the team environment.What We OfferA professional, supportive, and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for personal and career development within a values-driven organization.The chance to make a meaningful contribution to the agricultural sector.Exposure to varied responsibilities, including industry travel and events.How to ApplyIf youre ready to take the next step in your insurance career and want to work with a team thats passionate about agriculture, wed love to hear from you.
