If you have a proven track record working in the pharmaceutical industry and a passion for the area of Ophthalmology then we want you to be a part of our success story.As an Ophthalmology Patient Journey Partner (PJP), you will play a pivotal role in promoting our exciting portfolio of Ophthalmology treatments to healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key ophthalmology stakeholders, including ophthalmologists and other respective healthcare professionals/practice staff, to create meaningful solutions that improve patient outcomes.The territory will focus on key Ophthalmology accounts across Sydney South, South-West and Canberra.What you will be working on:You will work closely with a supportive team, driving towards our goals for patients while contributing to the advancement of groundbreaking therapies. As a PJP, you will:Promote our ophthalmology product to healthcare providers within an assigned territory in NSW.Develop and execute territory plans to maximize opportunities to create value for our stakeholders and for Roche to meet our goals.Build strong, long-term relationships with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.Review customer engagement metrics to optimise communication channels ensuring regular engagement with target customers through face-to-face meetings, virtual calls, dinner presentation meetings, clinic/practice luncheons and participation in industry events.Provide expert knowledge on the clinical data and benefits of our treatment.Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams (marketing, medical etc) to drive business growth and great customer experience.Monitor and analyse territory performance, market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies/tactics to improve outcomes.Gather valuable insights from customers and effectively communicate them to the internal team to help validate and define our strategic initiatives.Adhere to company policies and industry regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.Who you are:You are someone who demonstrates a passion for patient outcomes, enterprise-level thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset with an excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. You have:3+ years or equivalent level of experience as a specialist pharmaceutical representative or in similar capacity.In-depth knowledge of the healthcare system and the role of multiple stakeholders within this therapeutic area.Bachelors degree (or relevant diploma) in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (essential).Significant experience and knowledge in the ophthalmology landscape (and a demonstration of previous strong learning agility), including treatments and clinical data in this therapeutic area (desirable).Ability to prioritise and manage external stakeholder requests, especially when the value of the engagement or initiative is not clearly defined or aligned with Roche''s objectives.Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within (and at times, outside) the assigned territory.You are good at communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement, showcasing exceptional partnering capabilities and the ability to exceed expectations.You are able to maintain integrity and a positive, self-directed, collaborative approach while leveraging networks, taking calculated risks, and acting decisively on opportunities.This Sydney-field-based role will cover a defined territory within NSW including Sydney South, South-West and Canberra.
