Physiotherapist (Community Services) Melbourne Suburbs (South and Mornington Peninsula, & Western Suburbs) - Full-TimeAn exciting opportunity exists to join the expanding Community-based team at United Physiotherapy Group (UPG), with roles available across Melbournes South and the Mornington Peninsula, and Western suburbs. There are opportunities to join the team in either a Full-Time or flexible Part-Time role.Specialising in community services and post-acute care, the team at UPG are dedicated to providing the gold standard in clinical management. With over 100 Physiotherapists, ranging from graduates through to experts in the field with over 20 years experience in musculoskeletal, neurological and cardio-respiratory physiotherapy, our team focuses on the development of our staff and up-to-date practices.Our group works in aged care facilities and in the community across VIC, NSW, QLD, TAS and WA improving the quality of life for thousands of valued clients. In addition we have a Flagship Studio where we provide Pilates, Yoga and Private Physiotherapy service along with sports physiotherapy services to local clubs. We pride ourselves on ensuring all clinicians receive ongoing training and continued growth opportunities in their chosen speciality, ensuring that we remain one of the leading providers of community based physiotherapy.We are seeking both experienced or early career Physiotherapists, ideally with experience in Community Services. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experts in the field and develop your skills with a diverse client base including NDIS, DVA, Home Care, STRC, Primary Care and Private Clients across Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria.As a Community Services Physiotherapist your role will involve:Engaging with clients with a variety of clinical presentations across a range of community environments from clients home to local pools and retirement living villages.Seeing clients across a variety of funding streams including NDIS, Home Care Packages, DVA, STRC, Primary Care and CHSP.Liaising with Case Manager/Support Coordinators and the larger team to enable clients to achieve their goals.Managing your schedule effectively including clinical and non-clinical tasksParticipating in ongoing Professional Development and developing skills through individual mentoring and team learning eventsRunning community based exercise groups, Hydrotherapy Groups and Falls prevention programs.About youWe would like to hear from people who are passionate about community services and pride themselves on high quality care.
