Services include external beam radiation therapy, brachytherapy and superficial modalities. The department is equipped with modern linear accelerators with surface guided imaging, stereotactic capabilities and the ability to deliver VMAT, DIBH, EEBH and IGRT techniques. AHRO has sites located at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne (Alfred Radiation Oncology ARO) and at Latrobe Regional Health, Traralgon (Gippsland Radiation Oncology GRO).The RoleThe incumbent is a highly motivated Radiation Therapist who will work closely with the overarching Governance Group to implement upgrades and improvements within the Radiation Oncology Information System and maintain optimal performance of the system. The incumbent will help support and train new staff and have significant involvement in troubleshooting issues that arise.
