Your RoleCSL are hiring a Utilities Mechanical Fitter within the Maintenance Services Mechanical & Refrigeration Team. In this role youll provide essential engineering and maintenance support services at our world class manufacturing facilities at CSL Behring, Broadmeadows. Day Shift role (07:00-15:40).Youll conduct preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on process, plant and equipment. This includes providing support to manufacturing facilities for fractionation of human plasma into pharmaceutical products.In this role we offer:An attractive remuneration package9-day fortnight shift rosterAllowances and overtimeOn the job development and trainingAccess to an Employee Share Plan which allows employees to buy CSL shares at a discounted rateOnsite facilities (parking and cafeteria)Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Maintenance Engineer - Utilities your role will include:Working on a wide range of pumps, including overhauling, and maintaining centrifugal, diaphragm pumps, mag-drive pumpsWorking inside tanks following confined space entry procedures to conduct inspectionsWorking on vessel agitators, heat exchangers and a wide range of valvesWorking on steam and condensate systems, including demonstrated experience working on pressure reducing valves and steam trapsConduct welding maintenance repairs and fabrication work to address process or equipment related issuesSupporting manufacturing on a shift roster. Flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs, including availability outside normal work hours / Facility shutdown to support major maintenance activitiesYour ExperienceQualification: Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & Turner.Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of plant and process equipment listed aboveExpertise in fault diagnosis and corrective actionDemonstrated proficiency in TIG stainless steel welding.You are highly motivated and enjoy utilising your initiative to solve complex mechanical related problems in the process and plant environmentExperience working within a regulated/GMP environment and an understanding of the strict hygiene and traceability standards that apply will be highly regardedStrong commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standardsOur BenefitsWe encourage you to make your well-being a priority.
