We work closely with clients, families, and the community to adapt and evolve our services, ensuring we meet the changing needs and aspirations of those we support.Key Responsibilities include:Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to:Implement and evaluate evidence-based strategies for Positive Behaviour Support Participants ensuring plans reflect NDIS goals.Provide person centered support through problem-solving.Provide training, face to face/ online support to support workers, families to ensure implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plan.Monitor and Evaluate Interventions and recording processes in line with NDIS standards.Evaluate and track the outcomes of planning for individuals relating to Positive Behaviour Support.About youTo be successful in the role you will need:Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in the delivery of behaviour support services to individuals with complex support needs.Understanding various diagnoses such as Acquired Brain Injury, Physical and Neurological disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability.Understanding of Restricted Practices and Behaviour Support.A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution.Why Work for Us?When you join Access Recreation you will experience a vibrant, values driven organisation where the people we support are at the centre of everything we do.
