Rheinmetall Defence Australia Pty Ltd in BrisbaneRDA will be recruiting multiple qualified Painters throughout 2025 and beyond, either from automotive or industrial backgrounds. As a Vehicle Painter at Rheinmetall Defence Australia, you will work as part of a team to prepare, paint and finish military vehicles and military components.As a Vehicle Painter, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:Preparation, painting and quality checking of Rheinmetall vehicles and components following all relevant standards, work instructions and drawings;Undertake a wide range of paint preparation duties including grit blasting, sanding and masking;Maintain the Paint workshops, tools, and its equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements;Complete work documents and systems during and upon completion of work including in the SAP ERP;Fulfil other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your team leader from time to time.About the TeamReporting to the Team Lead Paint, you will be part of a team of the afternoon team. The Paint team forms part of the greater Production team which includes the Weld Shop, Prototype Shop, Assembly teams and Armour Shop. This role will be an afternoon shift. You will begin on day shift until youre compliant and then move to the afternoon shift of 3pm to 11pm.
