The Qantas Groups main business is the transportation of customers and freight using two complementary airline brands Qantas and Jetstar operating regional, domestic, and international services.Job DescriptionGreat opportunity within our PMO Technology teamStaff Travel Benefit from Day One2 x Permanent roles working at our Mascot Campus (hybrid working options available)The PMO Resource Manager will work across various functions within PMO Technology to support domains across key areas including resource management, capacity planning, demand management, prioritisation, and portfolio management.Working with senior stakeholders in each Domain, this role is essential for managing a large and complex portfolio of technology investments at Qantas, ensuring rigorous and consistent financial oversight and governance across each project Domain, and to allow for competing priorities to be planned and managed efficiently.As a part of PMO Technology, this role is highly visible and instrumental in providing enablement, governance, standardisation and control services to the broader Technology organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage resource capacity and allocation across domains, ensuring clear visibility and control of current and future project demands.Maintain a resource profile and utilisation tracking to ensure optimum use of resources across projects.Monitor and update stakeholders on project timeframes and resourcing.Oversee capacity planning and provide overall coordination support across domains.Propose, evaluate, analyse & execute process optimisations.Track new onboarded contractor costs against agreed Tech Panel rate cards.Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of resources.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Heads of, Project Managers, third parties, and strategic suppliers.Youll HaveAt least 6 years of experience in a PMO role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong resource and project management experience.Experience of risk and issue management.Proven people management expertise.Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to influence key stakeholders at different organisational levels and collaborate with senior leaders and the broader technology team.Strong negotiation and influencing skills to effectively address even the most resistant stakeholders and challenging situations.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity, complexity and confidential information.Highly self-motivated, with strong time management and the ability to deliver under pressure.Bachelors degree or appropriate practical experience.Experience with Clarity portfolio management suite of products (desirable).Be a part of something special get in touch today.Why Qantas?Youll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
