Security AnalystStart Date: 1 July 2025Length: 24 months + 2 x 12 month extensionsLocation of work: ACT (Canberra), NSW (Sydney, Newcastle), Queensland (Brisbane), South Australia (Adelaide) or Victoria (Melbourne, Box Hill)We are looking for a Security Analyst to join our team at a federal government department in Canberra. The successful candidate would be working on an enterprise data and analytics program. The program will look to deliver improvements in various channels, improve data visibility, improved automated processing and better utilisation of information.This program would be suitable for a candidate who has worked in large cloud and data projects before and is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to utilise their skills. The team will align to a scaled agile delivery methodology and would regularly work with other multi-disciplinary teams.This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a suitable Security Analyst to further develop their abilities on large-scale data programs.About You:Risk Assessment Expertise: Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigationVulnerability Scanning: Ability to identify security vulnerabilities and solutions based on software designAPI Development Security: Knowledge of security best practices for API developmentExperience with AWS Security Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS security tools and ability to review codeQualifications: Any relevant cloud, data, technology certifications or relevant tertiary educationAbout Araza:Our organisation works with Australias largest enterprise and government clients providing project and program teams and resources to ensure success.
